October! Finally! I can’t tell you how excited I am to finally feel some fresh fall air here in LA. Although it has been short lived and yet another heat wave has hit this week, ugh. I made sure to take advantage of the days we did have perfect weather and rocked one of our vintage slip dresses for a day of meetings downtown!

I styled it two ways to show y’all how it can be dressed up or down depending on how casual you’re feeling or the type of event you’re attending.

Oh and SURPRISE! I’m pregnant! Ready to pop actually, LOL. One of the reasons Tay has been single-handedly maintaining our blog so far is because of how busy I’ve been cookin’ a baby 😉 (Shout out to her for holdin’ it down! She’s the best!) I promise there’s some awesome stuff in the works on my end and I can’t wait to share soon!

Outfit details:

Look #1- Casual 90’s Vibes

Slip Dress: Vintage 70’s Blue Jean Baby ‘Pink Hawaii Gown’ by Halston III ILGWU Union Made, available for purchase on our website now!

Jacket: Vintage 70’s Denim by Lee. I live for beat up classics like this one with the perfect faded and washed out look! You can’t go wrong throwing a denim jacket on over almost anything for those added casual cool vibes. This is one from my personal collection but we have plenty like it available here

Shoes: Camel faux-suede peep toe ankle boots from Steve Madden. These are go-to for me because they give me a little lift but have a chunky wooden block heel that makes them super comfy (especially while pregs!). I also love the slouchy ankle style, it’s super flattering on the legs! The ones I’m wearing are an older style but there are some similar options available on SM now, here, here and here

Bag: Chevron Flap Bag by Chanel

Sunnies: Cinema Sunglasses by Prada

Choker: DIY Vintage Denim Hem Choker 🙂

Look #2: Add Some Chic

To dress the look up a little bit for date night, I swapped out my vintage denim jacket for Blue Jean Baby’s ‘The Sage Blazer’. Something about a white jacket is super high fashion to me, and I love that this one is still a little casual because it’s not too structured and has the contrast silky bottom half!
